General Comments:

Generation Proofs:

7 Thomas and Nancy Ann married prior to 1810. Their first child was born in Tennessee about 1810, their ten children were all born in Tennessee. About 1840 most of the family moved to the Lafayette Co./Johnson Co., MO line. The family who remained in Jackson Co., TN are William Davidson (married Manerva Gibson) & Thomas Davidson (married Sarah Kelly), Susannah Davidson (married Elijah Burris), Mariah Davidson (married Richard Bradshaw and moved to Madison Co., AL). After Thomas' death in 1845 Nancy Ann (per 1850 Johnson Co., Census) lived with their youngest son Stephen M., until he moved to Oregon in 1852, she then lived with her daughter Nancy Ann (married Robert Mathews b. Ireland) until the elder Nancy Ann's death Nov 8, 1869. (Census 1820 & 1830 Jackson County, Tennessee; 1840 Lafayette County, Missouri; 1850 Johnson County, Missouri-Nancy Ann Davidson; 1860 Lafayette County, Missouri-Nancy Ann Davidson; deah information per Johnson County Missouri court records)

6 Samuel Davidson and Elizabeth moved to Lafayette Co., MO with his parents and younger brothers and sisters, who are {John I. (d. 1843 never married), Jonas G. (married Mary Ann Sanders), Elizabeth (married John Wesley Smith), Nancy Ann (married Robert Mathews) and Stephen M. (married Mary Powell in Linn Co., OR). Samuel and Elizabeth moved to California where Samuel's brother Stephen M. was living as well as several of Samuel and Elizabeth's sons. Samuel and Elizabeth died in California and are buried there. (Census records; 1840 Lafayette Co., Missouri -with Thomas Davidson; 1850, 1860, 1870, 1880 Lafayette County Missouri)

5 Stephen M. Davidson married Martha Ann Ashford in Lafayette County Missouri about 1871. More information to come.

4 Henry C. Davidson married Sara Eva Lee Neal August 18, 1919 Maryville, Nodaway County, Missouri (widow of older brother Winston Alexander "Alex" Davidson) Census: 1920 Richmond, Ray County, Missouri (with wife and brother's children) 1930 Richmond Ray County, Missouri with wife and their two children and three of Eva and Alex's children.

Haplogroup Shading Code: Note: all Haplogroup values are reported based on latest Y-DNA Haplogroup Standard nomenclature.
We update these results as the Standard is changed (usually every 1-2 years).
R1b1    Predicted - Haplogroup value is predicted by FTDNA based on marker values.
R1b1    Backbone Test - Haplogroup value is derived based on a now obsolete SNP Backbone Test by FTDNA. Additional SNPs need to be analysed.
R1b1    Earlier Standard - Haplogroup value is measured based on a Deep Clade Test performed by FTDNA based on earlier
Y-DNA Haplogroup Standard. Additional new SNPs need to be analysed.
R1b1    Current Standard - Haplogroup Value is measured based on a Deep Clade Test performed by FTDNA to latest Y-DNA Haplogroup Standard.

Allele Shading Code: Codes to show exceptions to family highlighting based on differences between your results and Predicted Ancestral Haplotype.
Please note that some alleles have been designated as Fast Mutators - this means that changes in their values MAY have less genealogical significance.
29    Difference noted for fast mutating allele. Differences may have less genealogical significance.
29    Difference noted for slow mutating allele.
No value for this allele was observed. Normally used with for 464e, 464f, and 464g.
Ordered. Data has been ordered and awaiting report from FTDNA.

Fast vs. Slow Mutating Alleles: The Alleles whose names are in red in the header row have been designated by FamilyTreeDNA as fast mutating. This means that, when comparing two kits, these alleles have less genealogical significance and figure less in determining if two kits have a family match.
