General Comments:

It is believed that Benjamin left Alabama in the 1890's and moved to Texas with his married Aunt, Mary (Davidson) Cadle and husband Lynn Cadle. They moved to the Hearne area, where Cadle's resided for many years. Benjamin worked as a farm laborer his entire life and in 1905 was working in (then Greer County, Indian Territory, Oklahoma) now Jackson County, Oklahoma near Eldorado. He met and married Lettie Rexrode in 1905 at State line (between Eldorado, OK and Quanah, TX). They lived mostly in that area of OK/TX until his untimely death in 1922 at age 42. He (and Lettie) are buried just south of Eldorado in Antioch Cemetery, just off Highway 6.

Generation Proofs:

5 I have no proof other than word of mouth from my Grandfather Arthur Davidson who was told by his father Benjamin that his father was born in Alabama and was named Josephus Daniel Davidson. No other information is known.

4 Marriage Certificate of Benjamin and Lettie and Grandfather's Death Certificate stating Benjamin as his father as well as 1910 and 1920 U.S. Census's reflecting Benjamin, wife Lettie and sons that are my Great Uncles.

3 My Father's birth certificate listing his Father as Arthur Davidson, and the 1940 U.S. Census listing my Grandfather, Grandmother Natalie and 1 Year old Benny. I also have my Grandfather's death certificate.

2 My Father's birth certificate and the 1940 U.S. Census listing my Grandfather, Grandmother Natalie and 1 Year old Benny.

1 My Birth Certificate listing Charles Benny Davidson as my Father.

Haplogroup Shading Code: Note: all Haplogroup values are reported based on latest Y-DNA Haplogroup Standard nomenclature.
We update these results as the Standard is changed (usually every 1-2 years).
R1b1    Predicted - Haplogroup value is predicted by FTDNA based on marker values.
R1b1    Backbone Test - Haplogroup value is derived based on a now obsolete SNP Backbone Test by FTDNA. Additional SNPs need to be analysed.
R1b1    Earlier Standard - Haplogroup value is measured based on a Deep Clade Test performed by FTDNA based on earlier
Y-DNA Haplogroup Standard. Additional new SNPs need to be analysed.
R1b1    Current Standard - Haplogroup Value is measured based on a Deep Clade Test performed by FTDNA to latest Y-DNA Haplogroup Standard.

Allele Shading Code: Codes to show exceptions to family highlighting based on differences between your results and Predicted Ancestral Haplotype.
Please note that some alleles have been designated as Fast Mutators - this means that changes in their values MAY have less genealogical significance.
29    Difference noted for fast mutating allele. Differences may have less genealogical significance.
29    Difference noted for slow mutating allele.
No value for this allele was observed. Normally used with for 464e, 464f, and 464g.
Ordered. Data has been ordered and awaiting report from FTDNA.

Fast vs. Slow Mutating Alleles: The Alleles whose names are in red in the header row have been designated by FamilyTreeDNA as fast mutating. This means that, when comparing two kits, these alleles have less genealogical significance and figure less in determining if two kits have a family match.

DNA Analysis:

The FTDNATiP analysis for kit 27550 - 37 markers indicates:

** 97.47% likelihood of a common ancestor with kit 48533 at 12 generations.
** 97.47% likelihood of a common ancestor with kit 68990 at 12 generations.
** 89.49% likelihood of a common ancestor with kit 84787 at 12 generations
