General Comments:

Joseph signed legal papers 8th of Feb. 1857 stating that he and his brother signed the bond papers when his brother Abner married Anne Evans in Grainger County Tennessee in 1802.


Generation Proofs:
7 Will of Thomas McCune listed James Devison as son in law and a Blene/Blain Davison as grandson.
This will was filed in Mt. Joy Twp which is now in Adams County Pennsylvania. The Samuel Davison that was listed on the 1799 Grainger County Tax list stated on his application for Rev. War pension that he was born 4 miles from Taneytown in PA which is very near were the McCune will was filed.
Also there is a descendant of the Blain Davison who is a 12/12 match for this kit in Davidson family 7 and possibly a descendant of Samuel.
