Generation Proofs:

7 Thomas and Nancy Ann married prior to 1810. Their first child was born in Tennessee about 1810, their ten children were all born in Tennessee. About 1840 most of the family moved to the Lafayette Co./Johnson Co., MO line. The family who remained in Jackson Co., TN are William Davidson (married Manerva Gibson) & Thomas Davidson (married Sarah Kelly), Susannah Davidson (married Elijah Burris), Mariah Davidson (married Richard Bradshaw and moved to Madison Co., AL). After Thomas' death in 1845 Nancy Ann (per 1850 Johnson Co., Census) lived with their youngest son Stephen M., until he moved to Oregon in 1852, she then lived with her daughter Nancy Ann (married Robert Mathews b. Ireland) until the elder Nancy Ann's death Nov 8, 1869. 6 Samuel Davidson and Elizabeth moved to Lafayette Co., MO with his parents and younger brothers and sisters, who are {John I. (d. 1843 never married), Jonas G. (married Mary Ann Sanders), Elizabeth (married John Wesley Smith), Nancy Ann (married Robert Mathews) and Stephen M. (married Mary Powell in Linn Co., OR). Samuel and Elizabeth moved to California where Samuel's brother Stephen M. was living as well as several of Samuel and Elizabeth's sons. Samuel and Elizabeth died in California and are buried there. (Census records; 1840 Lafayette Co., Missouri -with Thomas Davidson; 1850, 1860, 1870, 1880 Lafayette County Missouri)
