General Comments:

Three Davidson men, Thomas J., Harvey W. and Jonas G., all living closely to each other, sharing children names and executor responsibilites. Thomas J.s descendant states Scott Co. MO. probate record states Jonas as being Thomas' younger brother. Therefore, William J. Davidson, would be the brother's father who died in 1840s. Further stated is family migrated from TN into Scott Co., MO. around mid 1830s.

Please note: There was another Jonas "B." Davidson b. 1826, living in Johnson Co., MO. that sometimes is mistaken for my g.g.grandfather Jonas G. Davidson

2019 Entry: There is new information on various websites indicating William J. Davidson's father as Abraham T. Davidson married to Sarah Ellis. This new information would complete the connection to John Davidson, father of Abraham T. Also, I've seen two websites showing an eldest son to Jonas G. Davidson - William, but also a james?? both born 1811 (twins??)

Ps. John Davidson's second wife was apparently Martha Draper. (Genealogy.com) what's interesting is some of their children were born in County Down, Ireland! Could this be a clue as to where John migrated from?
